Weekly Post 24/5/19

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my weekly update this week me and my group Isaac Stan and Liam are getting closer to finishing inquiry. We sent an email to Labour MP Meagan Woods for copper-free brake pads and to ask permission to put up a poster around the Centennial stream but we have not gotten permission from her yet to put it up.

Also for R.E, we have been learning lots about Mary and we have been working on a slide.

Weekly Update 10/5/19

Hello,

Welcome to my first post of term 2!

Just lately we had the cross country I really enjoyed it.

Firstly in the morning, I came to school then I unpacked my bag and got ready to leave and hop on the bus. When we arrived at the quarry we sat on the tarpaulin and waited for our race. Once our race was ready we did our stretches and lined up for the race. Mrs. Campbell said go and we all ran, in the end I came third and Liam Jones came second and Josh Ross came first.

End of Term Reflection

Hello everyone,

Today its the last of the term and I'm telling you my highlights of the term.

My first highlight was korfball. It's a really cool sport and it's lots of fun and it's like netball and basketball but mixed and really likes meeting the coaches.

This term we also played with the spheros and experiment them I was with Liam. We were programming the sphero to go round a car mat that Mrs O'Neill had.

We also did swimming sports this term.  Unfortunately I did not get in to zones.  In breaststroke I came last and in freestyle I got disqualified.

We also did Caritas challenge day it was lots of fun and we got an idea of what is like in South Sudan. We had rice for lunch and we had to make shelters out of cardboard.

My lowlights were Blake's farewell because I miss him and another one of my lowlights was Velvet and Elvis because I thought it was a little boring.

Holy week

Hello,

This week we have been learning about Holy Week and remembering what Jesus went through.

I learnt the all the steps Jesus went through when carried the cross and that the last Sunday in lent is called Passion Sunday not Palm Sunday.  We need to remember the passion for Jesus.

This is my learning from this week.
